The Pre-Emption Group will report regularly on how the Statement of Principles is being applied. The second of these reports was published in November 2008, and covered the twelve months to September 2008. The Group found that the Statement of Principles was being used as intended during that period, with an increase in the number of applications to disapply pre-emption rights by more than 5% of ordinary share capital.
